Passionate, dedicated, and results-driven, Richard Laidlaw has guided skaters from their very first steps on the ice to the world stage. His athletes have claimed multiple state and national titles and proudly represent Australia at the Junior World Championships, Four Continents Championships, and the Asian Winter Games.

As an Australian ELITE Level 6 accredited coach, Richard continues to refine his craft by working with some of the world’s top coaching minds. His coaching philosophy goes beyond teaching skating technique — he inspires confidence, discipline, and a champion mindset in every athlete.

With a strong focus on jump and spin mechanics, goal-setting, and performance preparation, Richard’s holistic approach consistently develops skaters who shine both on and off the ice.
