“Being on the ice is my happy place, it allows me to feel a sense of freedom, express my emotions through music while skating and meeting amazing skaters of all ages”
First started skating – 31 years old
Trains – 3 days per week
Challenge – understanding my body and how it works on the ice and to properly incorporate proper techniques from my coaches to make it look effortlessly
Hobbies/fun fact – I like to bake and experiment with Nutella and other delicious chocolate brands to create something new
Current work – Social worker with the passion of helping people
Motivation – I have a lot of friends, skating is fun and I enjoy it
Highlight – Being selected to be part of SAISA National team in 2026
Skating goals – Represent South Australia at Nationals
Advice to younger skaters – to achieve greatness one must fall, fail, get back up, and learn from them again and again
