December 12th & 13th (4:30 – 7:30pm) - (20th Dec & 21st Dec) End of Year Ice Show
Silver Blades figure Skating Club in conjunction with the Ice Arena Skate School are proud to announce we will be hosting an Ice Show at the end of the year for all SA skaters.
The show will incorporate all skaters who skate at the Ice Area from Aussie Skate (Tiny Tots, Basic) through to senior competitive Skaters and adult skaters…. All are welcome.

Early Bird Ticket - $15 Adult, $7.50 Child, $35 Family, $150 Group
After November 30th Tickets - $20 Adult, $10 Child, $45 Family, $200 Group
Doors open at 4:30 pm show starts at 5:00 pm sharp (approx length 2 hours)
General Admission.
Family - 2 adults + 2 kids or 1 adult + 3 kids
Group - 11 adults (pay 10 tickets)
Children - up till 2 years old are free

For all skater
This is a fantastic opportunity for all skaters at all levels to work together toward a great end of year event.
The club is mindful this November & December are a busy time of year for all, therefore we have tried to keep the rehearsal process simple.
REHEARSALS
In order to make the experience great for all we ask that all skaters make a commitment to attend all rehearsals. Rehearsals have been set for skaters attending skate school during skate school time on a Saturday during the Skate School sessions 9:30am - 12:30 pm.
Preliminary to Senior national level skaters attending 3 consecutive rehearsals on a Sunday 10-12pm starting 22nd November, 29th November, 6th December. Solo’s, Duo’s, Trio’s and featured skates will be designated at first rehearsal.
COSTUMES :
Skaters will supply their own costumes
OPENING – Basic black with a designated colour to accessorise
FINALE - The theme is Christmas so any red costume
SOLO, DUO TRIO – Skaters supply their own costume
REHEARSAL ATTIRE:
Training attire:
Female - Leotard, tights, unitard, fitted jacket
Males – Fitted T shirt / jacket, skating pants

Skate School Rehearsals
To be held during Saturday skate school session (9:30 am - 12:30 pm).
A detailed schedule to be released prior to rehearsals commencing.

Volunteers: We will be looking for parents to volunteer as dressers, make up, set up and pull down and lighting operators. All volunteers will be required to have a WWC (this is a great chance to get it for free if you do not already have one)
DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF SILVER BLADES – The answer is Yes. But as this is a co production between the club and the skate school, so if you are currently enrolled in the skate school, want to be in the show and have never been a member of Silver Blades Figure Skating Club, the membership fees will be waived for you with the discount rate of $15, but you are required to register on line to become a member:
