December 14th & 15th (4:30 – 7:30pm) - End of Year Ice Show
Silver Blades figure Skating Club in conjunction with the Ice Arena Skate School are proud to announce we will be hosting an Ice Show at the end of the year for all SA skaters.
The show will incorporate all skaters who skate at the Ice Area from Aussie Skate (Tiny Tots, Basic) through to senior competitive Skaters and adult skaters…. All are welcome.

Early Bird Ticket - $15 Adult, $7.50 Child, $35 Family, $150 Group
After November 30th Tickets - $20 Adult, $10 Child, $45 Family, $200 Group
Doors open at 4:30 pm show starts at 5:00 pm sharp (approx length 2 hours)
General Admission.
Family - 2 adults + 2 kids or 1 adult + 3 kids
Group - 11 adults (pay 10 tickets)
Children - up till 2 years old are free

It’s imperative you register & pay by this date so the rehearsal schedule can be confirmed and costumes ordered.

REHEARSALS
The skaters will be divided into several main groups, and be required to attend specific rehearsals for their group. As the rehearsal period is short it is essential all skaters MUST attend their scheduled rehearsal or risk being replaced. All Skaters will be required to learn the finale and attend the final Dress rehearsal.
Please see the Rehearsal dates and times on the tentative rehearsal Schedule to give you some ideas when you might be expected to attend the rehearsal.
Actual Rehearsal Times – Once all skaters have registered their interest a final rehearsal schedule will be released with specific rehearsal dates and times.
How much will it cost me? – The total cost for mostl skaters will be $170 each which covers costume, rehearsal ice time, & coach choreographic fees. Skaters will also receive a souvenir DVD. Please see the cost schedule for details.
COSTUMES – Do I get to keep my costume? Yes one costume will be yours to keep….. Some skaters may be asked to supply extra garments as part of their costume e.g boys may be asked to supply black skating pants.

Training attire:
Female - Leotard, tights, unitard, fitted jacket
Males – Fitted T shirt / jacket, skating pants
DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF SILVER BLADES – The answer is Yes. But as this is a co production between the club and the skate school, so if you are currently enrolled in the skate school, want to be in the show and have never been a member of Silver Blades Figure Skating Club, the membership fees will be waived for you with the discount rate of $15, but you are required to register on line to become a member:

Skaters who wish to be in the show as a soloist, duo, pairs, group or featured skater are asked to indicate in the field "If Skater wish to be in the show as a soloist, duo, pairs, group or featured skater" when they register on line. Skaters must inform their coaches of their intention to participate as a soloist, duo, pairs, group or featured skater at this event. These spots of course will be offered to the senior level skaters first, and it will also be based on First in, best dressed.
Please note, all skaters who wish to be in the show (including soloist, duo, pairs or featured skater) are expected to participate in at least one group number. Skaters will be grouped according to their skills and level.
